I was on my way to work 10 years ago.
As the shock began to wear off, I noticed how people's attitudes had changed. How all of the sudden, who our neighbors were, mattered; how they were doing, mattered; how we started to care.
10 years later, I am reading everyone memories and feelings about that day. But when I walk outside, I notice once again, how neighbors are people that forget they have neighbors, how red lights are merely suggestions, and how we no longer take responsibilities for our actions.
I hope remembering the tragedy reminds all of us that we all still one people on this earth. Living, together.
