I've been meaning to post about our new Pixie for a while now... :) and this is as good a time as any:
The Nespresso Pixie!
On a shopping trip to Williams Sonoma to pick up kitchen goodies from our wedding registry, we were lured aside by the delicious smells of espresso and introduced to the Nespresso Pixie. It's a compact espresso machine that uses pre-packed pods to quickly dispense a variety of expresso flavors.

Electric Blue
I'm most excited that it comes in Electric Blue! Nicholas is just happy we brought it home. See his smile? He's the coffee drinker of the two of us. I didn't normally drink a lot of coffee - I'm a tea person. But after tasting the espresso, I'm becoming a huge fan. I really like that there's not much to it, just a few sips.

The Sample Pack of Pixies
Our Pixie came with a sample pack of Nespresso's standard flavors. We quickly narrowed down our favorites and ordered more pods. At just under $0.60 per pod, it's more cost effective to make a shot in the Pixie than to make a run down the street for a cup.

Pixie's low water warning...
A cool kitchen gadget isn't cool without lights. The Pixie has lights to let you know what's going on. Bright white lights to tell you it's ready to make your espresso, red when it's getting low on water!

Different size Espresso!
And you can tell it what size drink you want! These buttons are also programmable if you like your smalls smaller and your larges larger. It's pretty neat. Of the kitchen gadgets we picked up, we use this one almost daily. My favorite flavor is the Finezzo :D, Nicholas likes the Roma.
