Good times...

Years ago, Judy and I were rummaging through the local Ross. We were both students, with just enough to get by with a few frills here and there. Back then, we both learned that you can't spend the money unless it's right there in your hot little hands. And there on the shoe racks was an exceptional pair of Guess motorcycle boots. With leather and buckles and style for a lifetime. But they were $65. They might as well been $600. She told me not to worry. If it was meant to be, they'll be there when I had $65. And if not, one day when I have that jobby job, I can buy them without even thinking.

So here I am, over a decade later with the jobby job, haunted by these lovely things.

Gee,

Life is too short to be haunted by a set of $65 boots. We will search for a better cooler pair soon.
