Some days are dry, some days are leaky
Some days come clean, other days are sneaky
Some days take less, but most days take more
Some slip through your fingers and onto the floor

T'day was one of those 'onto the floor' days. Dad had surgery this morning, still haven't heard back about how he's doing. More on my mind is me being more or less humiliatingly made aware of what all it is that i don't know at work and that I should know. Nothing wrong with a lot to learn. What's wrong is not having the time to learn it all. Being one of the special people who actually have to read/write in order to commit to memory...if I'm not given the time, I won't have it in my head. And this is where that story ends. Now maybe they'll take me seriously when I say I need more time to study. Hindsight and all that jazz.

Do I love it: No.
Will I stick it out: Why not.
What I've learned: There's always more. Always.
I am thankful for: The beautiful hiking trails.
Special thanks: Goes out to Lord Chris O for taking the time to give me that much needed pick me up phone call.
Brought to you by: The letter L and the number 5.
